Dr. Karis Langvand

Chiropractor

    Founder, chiropractor and dog fanatic.

    She’s known for her kindness, knowledge and magic hands.

    Dr. Karis utilizes evidence-based care to assess, diagnose and formulate individualized treatment plans for all of her patients. She has a special interest in the treatment of TMJ/jaw pain, spinal/extremity pain or dysfunction, muscle injuries, pregnancy, postpartum and pediatrics. Through a whole body approach she is able to identify the underlying causes of pain and dysfunction, which helps patients find the relief they’re looking for by treating the root cause.

    Dr. Karis uses a diverse range of treatment techniques to relieve pain and improve function in her patients. These techniques include hands-on manual adjustments/mobilizations, muscle release therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue therapies, cold laser therapy and exercise prescription.

Dr. Madeleine Rogers

  • Meet Dr. Madeleine Rogers aka Dr. Maddie!

    Dr. Maddie loves leading an active lifestyle with basketball holding a special place for her as she played at the provincial, national, international and college levels. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta then her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

    Dr. Maddie values education and is in constant pursuit of opportunities to diversify her knowledge and enhance her skills to provide the best care possible for her patients. She is a certified Contemporary Medical Acupuncture provider and has training in both Active Release Technique (ART) and spinal stenosis care.

    Ultimately, she is passionate about helping her patients pursue their passions, whether that be at work, in the gym, or at home!

    As a Doctor of Acupuncture and practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Dr. Brooke is dedicated to restoring balance and promoting wellness through a holistic, integrative approach. Her practice goes beyond acupuncture by incorporating herbal medicine, cupping therapy, moxibustion and dietary therapy to support the body's natural healing processes.

    She specializes in mental health, women's health, hormonal balance, fertility, and cycle regulation by combining TCM principles with modern holistic nutrition. By blending Eastern and Western wellness practices, she creates personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs—whether addressing chronic pain, digestive health, stress management, or reproductive health. Her goal is to empower her clients with tools and treatments that foster long-term well-being.

    Dr. Brookes journey into holistic health began with her own struggles after being diagnosed with Celiac Disease. She used holistic nutrition to reclaim her health and has been able to lose 90lbs by practicing what she preaches, proving that transformation is possible with the right support.

    She earned her certification in Holistic Nutrition from Pacific Rim in 2023 and has  since deepened her expertise in women’s health through specialized training in hormonal balance, cycle tracking and nutrition tailored to the female body. Her passion for supporting women at every stage of life also led her to become a birth doula, ensuring her clients receive compassionate and whole-body care.

Anna Ortung-Frantz

Orthopedic Physiotherapist/Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist

  • Meet Anna Ortung-Frantz!

    Anna is originally from Washington state, where graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of Puget Sound.
    Anna’s favorite thing about being a physiotherapist is restoring people’s faith in their own body and in movement again— she knows firsthand how life-changing pain and dysfunction can be, and seeing someone do something they were afraid to do before is what motivates her. Her greatest passion within the field is in pelvic health, and she has obtained additional training after graduation for managing pelvic floor conditions with a special interest in prenatal and postnatal care including ROST therapy for pelvic girdle pain. Anna also has training in IMS/dry needling.

    Outside of work, Anna enjoys reading, crocheting, kayaking, and hiking in the Rockies with her husband and two young daughters.

Dr. Chanita Shum

  • Meet Dr. Chanita Shum!

    Dr. Chanita Shum completed a Bachelor of Sciences in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary then her Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic West, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Additionally, she is certified in Graston technique as a M1&M2 provider, Integrated Seminar Series Needling provider, and Active Release Technique care.

    She practices being a lifetime learner, which extends into her patient care. She is active in enhancing and expanding her knowledge of different techniques and modalities so that she can provide effective treatment for her patients to ensure the best care possible for them.

    Dr. Chanita truly values getting to know her patients and learning their life stories, as she strongly believes that connection is an important aspect of an individual’s healing process. She understands that everyone’s healing process is different and thus she takes the time to educate, collaborate, and cheer on her patients through holistic and individualized plans so that the patient can experience the full benefits of chiropractic care.

Joanna Sherman

    Joanna graduated from the 2200-hour Massage Therapy program at the Alberta Institute of Massage in January of 2024. She believes in a slow therapeutic approach to treatment incorporating trigger point therapy, firm pressure and relaxation techniques. Her priority is making sure her treatments are tailored to each client’s needs and that they always walk out with a smile. Joanna’s always been drawn towards helping others, and her caring nature is evident in the way that she connects with her clients and helps them achieve their wellness goals!

Shakila Rajasundaram

  • Meet Shakila Rajasundaram!

    Shakila Rajasundaram is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who graduated with honors and distinction from the Manual Osteopath College of Canada. Her practice integrates a comprehensive set of hands-on techniques, including osteoarticulation, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, and myofascial remodeling, to support the body’s natural ability to heal.

    Shakila’s healthcare journey began with a rigorous five-year education in physical therapy in India. With over ten years of clinical experience, she has developed a strong foundation in anatomy, biomechanics, and rehabilitation. She has treated a wide range of conditions, from complex neurological injuries and severe physical disabilities to women’s pelvic health and chronic pain. She addresses dysfunctions in the musculoskeletal, nervous, and visceral systems, helping patients find relief from issues such as back and neck pain, joint restrictions, digestive disturbances, headaches, TMJ and stress-related tension. She also has a special interest in working with children with autism, aiming to improve comfort, mobility, and quality of life through gentle, personalized care.

    Passionate about whole-body wellness and patient-centered treatment, Shakila is committed to identifying the root causes of discomfort and tailoring therapy to each individual’s unique needs. Outside the clinic, she enjoys hiking, biking, and discovering new places and cuisines through travel.
