Paige Ryan

Meet Paige Ryan!

From an early age, Paige developed a keen interest in health and natural remedies, which shaped her journey towards understanding the body's resilience. Instead of relying solely on conventional medicine for symptom relief, she explored holistic approaches to enhance her well-being. This curiosity ultimately led Paige to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.

During her studies, physiotherapy helped Paige recover from sports injuries, but she felt drawn to a more holistic approach. Coaching fitness classes and completing Yoga Teacher Training further shaped her belief in integrating physical and spiritual practices for healing. Paige's passion for proactive self-care and improving healthcare led her to Manual Osteopathy, aligning with her holistic beliefs in the body's interconnectedness and self-healing abilities.

Specializing in Cranial Therapy, Myofascial Remodeling, Osteoarticulations, and Visceral Manipulation, Paige addresses the nervous system and fascia to support holistic vitality. Collaborating with other healthcare practitioners, she aims to optimize their modalities' benefits for comprehensive client care, empowering genuine healing and well-being.

Dr. Christina Lam R.Ac

Meet Dr. Christina Lam!

Christina is a Doctor of Acupuncture - a registered acupuncturist & member with the CAA (College of Acupuncturists of Alberta). She is originally from Calgary and began her post-secondary in 2009 at Mount Royal University, first studying: Communications and Social Work.

Wanting to help others through connection and bridging east and west modalities - she found herself returning to the medicine of her roots.

She then moved to beautiful Vancouver Island - where she received her training in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She received her Diploma of Acupuncture at Pacific Rim College, in Victoria B.C & successfully completed the Pan-Canadian licensing exam.

Dr. Christina approaches each treatment with gentle care, active listening, an open mind & heart. In treatment, she looks through the lenses of: classical Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, 5 Element theory, orthopedics and traumatology - oftentimes blending the lenses and using traditional + modern techniques in practice. Some of which include: traditional needling techniques combined with motor points, auriculotherapy, cupping, gua sha, food as medicine (Shi Liao) and self-care recommendations.

She has an interest in: digestive health, pain management, skin health, mental + emotional well-being, addictions, sleep quality & women’s health. She continues to further her knowledge with self-study, seminars, conferences and workshops.

When she’s not providing care in clinic-space, Christina is deepening her yoga practice, enjoying nature & the elements, dog-sitting and (likely) curled up to a good book.
